As you know, I ain't the faster rider on the planet, so I'm used to people passing me on the way up the hill. Usually they say hi as they pass, sometimes we chat for a few seconds. But on that day, a couple of solo cyclists about 10 minutes apart just flew past me. I couldn't figure out what was going on (did I suck that bad?) until I got to the top and saw the signs for the race: the tour would be going through part of my route, and some of the pros were practicing. As you say, they are fast... ;-) Hey Matt:

We were on the East fork of Middle Lions Trail two days ago and it was an amazing day. I have never seen so many wildflowers still blooming this late in the year and its all due to the amount of rain we have had this past winter. It was truly a delight on the trail, eyefuls of colorful blooms and the creek was running full. An incredible day on the trail, taking it all in and loving every, single moment of it.
